French Revolution Storybook Assignment
Purpose: To assess student knowledge of the causes of the French revolution, the events of the French revolution and the aftermath of the French revolution.
Format: Working alone or with a partner, each student will produce a children's storybook explaining the causes, events and aftermath of the French revolution. Each storybook should contain the following items:

Day 1: Reading on French Monarchy and Three Estates
Reading on Meeting of Estates General
Begin work on Cover, Introduction and Meeting of Estates General
Day 2: Finish Cover, Introduction, and Meeting of Estates General
Begin readings on Tennis Court Oath, Storming of the Bastille, and March on
Versailles. Begin pages on above items.
Day 3: Finish pages of Tennis Court Oath, Storming of Bastille and March on
Versailles. Begin readings on Reign of Terror and New Republic. Watch video on Reign of Terror. Work on pages on above items.: Finish previous sections. Reading (Chapter 20 Section 5) on rise of Napoleon.
Day 5: Finish up Storybooks and share them.
