Assignment #1 Explain the Song Lyrics (25 points)
With a partner explain the significance of the people and or events in your assigned year.
You will choose your partner and year during class on Wednesday June 6th.
You will explain the events to the class and hand in 1 page minimum written summary.
Make sure to put both partners' names on the assignment.
Assignment # 2 Create your own Lyrics (25 points)
The song "We didn't start the fire" was created in 1989 and therefore doesn't include the last 12 years. With the same assigned partner create a song that shows events that explain the social, political and cultural events from 1990 to the present. You will turn in your song with an explanation of the people and events you choose.
